Covid-19:

Current guidance from Adult Learning courses 2022.  We would like to reassure you that we are taking all the necessary steps to maintain a safe learning environment, following all relevant Government guidance relating to Covid-19 and in particular the impact of the Omicron variant.

Our priority is to continue to deliver face-to-face, and this evidence is clear that being out of education causes significant harm to educational attainment, life chances, mental and physical health.

The current guidance states that we can continue to deliver classroom-based learning in all our venues throughout Cumbria:

  • We will risk assess all our venues, ensuring we comply with health and safety.
  • Ensure good hygiene for everyone by providing access to appropriate facilities and resources.
  • Maintain appropriate cleaning regimes in our venues.
  • Keep occupied spaces well ventilated.
  • Follow public health advice on testing, self-isolation and managing confirmed cases of COVID-19.
  • Staff will wear face coverings at all times.
  • Classrooms will be set up to ensure social distancing of at least 1m.

If you are unsure or would like to discuss further please contact your local centre or speak to your Tutor.
